This project focused on illustrating a short biography tributed to the late Dian Fossey, primatologist who fought for the protection and conservation of mountain gorillas.

The work introduces four pages for the book's resolution, and two potential cover ideas. Children aged 6-10 can partake in Fossey's heroic journey, and come to understand a glimpse of the complex relationship among humans and animals, while being introduced to themes of environmental conservation and further develop empathy.
